Perhaps Not So Soon

Hello to anyone who still reads things around here, the comic has become a real ghost town now that I've stopped updating. :p

But as for my comic idea, I think I've got all the maps and ragdolls I need but sadly gmod is still too unstable especially around high detail or custom maps. So for now it doesn't look like I'll be making more than a few issues at most. If gmod/my PC can be fixed then we'll see.

Coming Soon

A new comic by me. Oh yes. It is in the middle of the planning stages, with a 2nd draft of the story done and 90% of resources aquired. I now have to finalise the story and make a decision on whether I'm prepared to see another project through to completion.

Unlike C17TV my lovely little foray into the world of webcomics this project is one long story. As me and my friend/semi-advisor Tom joke, it will be a "teh dead serious comix", in other words not humour based but more of an action and crime type affair. I can't really explain the feel it will have. Probably a tad far fetched but not unfeasible series of events.

Soooo keep your eyes peeled on my profile for I might make the frist few 'trial' pages in the coming weeks. Esitmated lenght: I have no idea! And no it will not be a no brainer shootfest. That's not to say there won't be any action but I have standards to upkeep and as you may know from C17TV, I always keep a close eye on quality.

Fixed

I got a new ASUS 8500 to replace my broken graphics card. It works plus is a bit higher spec than before.

So all is well, almost, it doesn't like running source games and crashes sometimes so I'll have to check up on that in future. I've finished college now meaning I'm free until september. Bit bored really...

PC Trouble

Well fate dealt me a bad hand. On the morning after the day of my last exam my computer failed. An automated voice error message thing came up and nothing was shown on screen.Uh-oh. After banging the side and clearing out the dust I found using my mum's computer it is to do with the graphics card. Some people said that the card just needs re-inserting. I did that but no luck. So now after telling my dad (the computer whizz that he is) we/he kinda figured that card had died. Poor geforce 6600, I only had it 2.8 years.

The good news: my dad found another card in his room that fits in the motherboard slot so I can use my PC.

Bad news: It only has 1mb of memory- compare that to the 256mb of my normal one. So yeah, I can only get a crappy 800x600 analogue resolution on my LCD screen (awful quality).

Oh dear, well if this isn't a death knell to C17TV I don't know what is. Stay tuned, maybe I'll get a replacement. As for now, I've finished college. It's GC/N64 time!
